WQB Mold Removal's Boon removal technicians see this constantly after remodels — a bathroom, a basement finish-out, a kitchen expansion — where a subcontractor closed up a wall before it fully dried. We'll give you a straight answer about what actually happened.

WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Boon: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
If your Boon renovation needs more than removal, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly treating the same spot repeatedly. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
What sets our Mold Removal crew apart in Boon.
Understanding the actual cause matters more here than in a typical removal call. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
Nothing changes mid-job unless the scope genuinely does. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
We know a fresh renovation problem feels urgent, and we treat it that way. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Here's exactly what our Mold Removal service covers in Boon, MI.
New drywall and recently painted surfaces get treated with methods that won't damage the finish you just paid for.
New plumbing connections from a remodel are a common Boon source of the hidden leak feeding fresh mold.
This step matters even more on fresh materials that haven't had years to compact.
We match the antimicrobial product to the specific new surface — fresh drywall, new tile, recent trim — rather than a generic spray.
Renovations sometimes alter airflow in ways that create new condensation points nobody anticipated.
If the surface needs a second pass, that happens on the same visit whenever possible.
Here's what a Boon removal appointment looks like after a renovation, start to finish.

Our nearest available crew heads straight to your Boon address with the gear this job actually needs. You'll get a call or text when the crew is on the way.
We inspect, test where needed, and give you a flat-rate quote before any work begins. We'll explain the quote in plain language, not just hand you a number.
The job isn't done until it passes our own check, backed by a written guarantee. We'll walk the space with you before calling it finished.
