Our technicians are trained to diagnose whether it's a fresh plumbing tie-in, a ventilation change, or simple trapped construction moisture behind the Mears, MI job.
We'd rather coordinate with your original contractor on a warranty callback than have you pay twice for the same underlying issue. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Mears property owners trust us with this specific job.
We identify whether trapped construction moisture, a plumbing tie-in, or ventilation change caused the Mears problem. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
Nothing changes mid-job unless the scope genuinely does. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
Most Mears removal calls get an appointment the same day, sometimes within hours. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Every Mears job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
We identify whether the paint itself is trapping moisture underneath before choosing a treatment approach.
New plumbing connections from a remodel are a common Mears source of the hidden leak feeding fresh mold.
This step matters even more on fresh materials that haven't had years to compact.
Application follows label instructions for dwell time so the fresh finish isn't compromised.
We'll flag if your Mears remodel's new layout is contributing to the moisture problem.
If the surface needs a second pass, that happens on the same visit whenever possible.

Answers to what Mears homeowners ask after a renovation reveals mold.
Most commonly, a wall or surface was closed up before moisture from construction, a fresh plumbing tie-in, or paint fully dried.
That depends on your specific contract and what caused the problem, so it's worth checking before booking a separate treatment.
We select methods specifically to avoid damaging fresh drywall, tile, or paint whenever possible.
Most post-renovation calls get scheduled the same day, given how urgent a fresh problem usually feels.
If the same trapped-moisture or ventilation issue isn't addressed, yes, it's possible.
