WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Excelsior: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
If your Excelsior renovation needs more than removal, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly treating the same spot repeatedly. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Excelsior property owners trust us with this specific job.
Understanding the actual cause matters more here than in a typical removal call. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
Nothing changes mid-job unless the scope genuinely does. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
Most Excelsior removal calls get an appointment the same day, sometimes within hours. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Every Excelsior job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
New drywall and recently painted surfaces get treated with methods that won't damage the finish you just paid for.
We check recent tie-ins specifically, since this is where a lot of post-renovation problems actually originate.
HEPA vacuuming pulls spore material out of new porous surfaces before any antimicrobial treatment begins.
We match the antimicrobial product to the specific new surface — fresh drywall, new tile, recent trim — rather than a generic spray.
We'll flag if your Excelsior remodel's new layout is contributing to the moisture problem.
If the surface needs a second pass, that happens on the same visit whenever possible.
We keep this efficient because you've likely already had enough contractors through your home this year.
A quick call helps our Excelsior dispatcher send the right equipment on the first visit. Texting a photo ahead of time can speed up prep.
Response time in Excelsior is typically same-day, faster for active emergencies. You'll get a call or text when the crew is on the way.
You'll know the full scope and price before we touch anything in your Excelsior property. Nothing gets added later that wasn't discussed and approved upfront.
You get documentation proving the work was completed to standard. Any follow-up questions get answered on the spot, not routed to voicemail.
We didn't write these — our Excelsior customers did.
