WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Lyons: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
If your Lyons renovation needs more than removal, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly treating the same spot repeatedly. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Lyons property owners trust us with this specific job.
We identify whether trapped construction moisture, a plumbing tie-in, or ventilation change caused the Lyons problem. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
You'll see the number before we start, broken down by surface and material. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
We know a fresh renovation problem feels urgent, and we treat it that way. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Every Lyons job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
We identify whether the paint itself is trapping moisture underneath before choosing a treatment approach.
New plumbing connections from a remodel are a common Lyons source of the hidden leak feeding fresh mold.
This step matters even more on fresh materials that haven't had years to compact.
Application follows label instructions for dwell time so the fresh finish isn't compromised.
Renovations sometimes alter airflow in ways that create new condensation points nobody anticipated.
We re-inspect the treated surface before leaving, confirming growth is actually resolved.

Our nearest available crew heads straight to your Lyons address with the gear this job actually needs. You'll get a call or text when the crew is on the way.
We inspect, test where needed, and give you a flat-rate quote before any work begins. Nothing gets added later that wasn't discussed and approved upfront.
You get documentation proving the work was completed to standard. We'll walk the space with you before calling it finished.
We didn't write these — our Lyons customers did.

The questions that come up most right after a remodel.
Most commonly, a wall or surface was closed up before moisture from construction, a fresh plumbing tie-in, or paint fully dried.
That depends on your specific contract and what caused the problem, so it's worth checking before booking a separate treatment.
We select methods specifically to avoid damaging fresh drywall, tile, or paint whenever possible.
Most post-renovation calls get scheduled the same day, given how urgent a fresh problem usually feels.
We'll flag any structural cause so you can address it with your Lyons, NJ contractor going forward.
