WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Elmont: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
If your Elmont renovation needs more than removal, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly treating the same spot repeatedly. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Elmont property owners trust us with this specific job.
We identify whether trapped construction moisture, a plumbing tie-in, or ventilation change caused the Elmont problem. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
Nothing changes mid-job unless the scope genuinely does. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
We know a fresh renovation problem feels urgent, and we treat it that way. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Here's exactly what our Mold Removal service covers in Elmont, NY.
New drywall and recently painted surfaces get treated with methods that won't damage the finish you just paid for.
New plumbing connections from a remodel are a common Elmont source of the hidden leak feeding fresh mold.
HEPA vacuuming pulls spore material out of new porous surfaces before any antimicrobial treatment begins.
We match the antimicrobial product to the specific new surface — fresh drywall, new tile, recent trim — rather than a generic spray.
Renovations sometimes alter airflow in ways that create new condensation points nobody anticipated.
We re-inspect the treated surface before leaving, confirming growth is actually resolved.
