WQB Mold Removal's Lewistown removal technicians see this constantly after remodels — a bathroom, a basement finish-out, a kitchen expansion — where a subcontractor closed up a wall before it fully dried. We'll give you a straight answer about what actually happened.

WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Lewistown: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
We'd rather coordinate with your original contractor on a warranty callback than have you pay twice for the same underlying issue. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Lewistown property owners trust us with this specific job.
Understanding the actual cause matters more here than in a typical removal call. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
HEPA vacuums and EPA-registered antimicrobials go on every Lewistown job, matched to the specific new materials involved. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
You'll see the number before we start, broken down by surface and material. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
We know a fresh renovation problem feels urgent, and we treat it that way. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Every Lewistown job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
We identify whether the paint itself is trapping moisture underneath before choosing a treatment approach.
We check recent tie-ins specifically, since this is where a lot of post-renovation problems actually originate.
HEPA vacuuming pulls spore material out of new porous surfaces before any antimicrobial treatment begins.
We match the antimicrobial product to the specific new surface — fresh drywall, new tile, recent trim — rather than a generic spray.
We'll flag if your Lewistown remodel's new layout is contributing to the moisture problem.
We re-inspect the treated surface before leaving, confirming growth is actually resolved.
We keep this efficient because you've likely already had enough contractors through your home this year.
Tell us what you're seeing and we'll get a Mold Removal specialist on the calendar for your Lewistown property, often same-day. We'll give you a realistic arrival window rather than a vague estimate.
Response time in Lewistown is typically same-day, faster for active emergencies. We arrive in marked vehicles with everything needed to start the assessment right away.
We inspect, test where needed, and give you a flat-rate quote before any work begins. Nothing gets added later that wasn't discussed and approved upfront.
The job isn't done until it passes our own check, backed by a written guarantee. Any follow-up questions get answered on the spot, not routed to voicemail.
We didn't write these — our Lewistown customers did.

New ventilation layouts can also create condensation points that didn't exist before the remodel.
That depends on your specific contract and what caused the problem, so it's worth checking before booking a separate treatment.
We select methods specifically to avoid damaging fresh drywall, tile, or paint whenever possible.
Most post-renovation calls get scheduled the same day, given how urgent a fresh problem usually feels.
If the same trapped-moisture or ventilation issue isn't addressed, yes, it's possible.
