WQB Mold Removal built this service around a pattern we see constantly in Pacific: mold showing up within weeks of a renovation because moisture got trapped during construction.
If your Pacific renovation needs more than removal, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly treating the same spot repeatedly. We keep photos and notes from every job in case they're useful for a future warranty conversation.
Four reasons Pacific property owners trust us with this specific job.
Understanding the actual cause matters more here than in a typical removal call. We coordinate with your original contractor if a callback under their warranty makes sense first.
Fresh drywall and cured paint respond differently to treatment than older materials. We won't damage recent finish work while treating what's underneath it.
You'll see the number before we start, broken down by surface and material. We understand renovation budgets are often already stretched thin.
We know a fresh renovation problem feels urgent, and we treat it that way. Catching this early usually means less has to come back apart.
Every Pacific job gets scoped to the specific problem, not a generic checklist.
New drywall and recently painted surfaces get treated with methods that won't damage the finish you just paid for.
New plumbing connections from a remodel are a common Pacific source of the hidden leak feeding fresh mold.
This step matters even more on fresh materials that haven't had years to compact.
Application follows label instructions for dwell time so the fresh finish isn't compromised.
Renovations sometimes alter airflow in ways that create new condensation points nobody anticipated.
If the surface needs a second pass, that happens on the same visit whenever possible.
We keep this efficient because you've likely already had enough contractors through your home this year.
A quick call helps our Pacific dispatcher send the right equipment on the first visit. We'll give you a realistic arrival window rather than a vague estimate.
Response time in Pacific is typically same-day, faster for active emergencies. You'll get a call or text when the crew is on the way.
We inspect, test where needed, and give you a flat-rate quote before any work begins. Nothing gets added later that wasn't discussed and approved upfront.
You get documentation proving the work was completed to standard. Any follow-up questions get answered on the spot, not routed to voicemail.
We didn't write these — our Pacific customers did.
"Found mold in our brand-new bathroom just six weeks after the remodel finished — this crew traced it to a plumbing tie-in the contractor rushed."|"Treated it without touching our new tile, which is all I really cared about." — Yolanda P., Pacific
"Explained clearly that it wasn't our fault, just moisture trapped during construction."|"Fast appointment, didn't have to wait around for another contractor." — Desmond K., Pacific
"Honest that our renovation contractor should probably know about this under warranty."|"Saved our new drywall, didn't need to cut into it." — Marisol T., Pacific
Fresh construction problems deserve a fast, careful response that doesn't undo the work you just paid for. We'll treat your new finishes with the same care your contractor did.

The questions that come up most right after a remodel.
Most commonly, a wall or surface was closed up before moisture from construction, a fresh plumbing tie-in, or paint fully dried.
That depends on your specific contract and what caused the problem, so it's worth checking before booking a separate treatment.
If something does need to be disturbed, we'll explain exactly why before doing it.
Most post-renovation calls get scheduled the same day, given how urgent a fresh problem usually feels.
If the same trapped-moisture or ventilation issue isn't addressed, yes, it's possible.
